Attitudinal Traffic Lights
Educational goals:
- To promote efficient and positive activities of the children’s socio-emotional education;
- To develop positive attitudes to themselves and to the others;
- To consolidate self-awareness, awareness towards their peers and increase of empathy
- To develop abilities of assertive communication;
- To learn strategies of avoiding or offering adequate responses for bullying behaviour (learning the resilient behaviour)
- To identify types of bullying and develop the skills of asking for help, prevention and intervention to manage bullying;
- To inform the children about the negative consequences of bullying;
- to increase the self-awareness level and to explore pupils’ opinions and needs regarding safety and well-being within their school, and the perception and understanding of individuals concerning bullying and violence;
- to consolidate self-awareness, to be aware of the others within the group and to develop empathy;
- to support and to work in order to create a nonviolent climate, favorable to inclusion and positive for the whole school.
